I have low hopes for hair trap drains in general.  I'm still not convinced it catches all the hair, but I love the flat strainer catches a LOT and I only have to clear the larger deep strainer once a day. Solidly impressed and satisfied with the purchase.

Have a tub already a few years old. The drain was frozen on and needed to be puttied again but it’s a non standard drain size and I had to cut it off and asked for a small discount on a new one since normally cutting a drain isn’t necessary just to add more putty… customer service was not friendly and would not get me to a manager and said I had to write emails provide photos etc. finally just ordered and left a note upon the order of a new drain for a manager to call me. Ended up speaking to someone and got a $10 refund on my purchase. Also he noted the drain was redesigned. I see the design changes and they look good but there needs to be a half inch taper or a 2inch built in tailpiece so it can be removed easier. Appreciate the $10 off but don’t appreciate the way this company has their customer service reps run the business.
